Permanent Cosmetics, also known as Micropigmentation,
is a form of cosmetic tattooing used to enhance facial
features. When applied by a skilled technician, it not
only enhances individual features, but can also improve
on nature's imperfections. Women of all ages appreciate
the convenience, and enjoy the confidence in looking
their best regardless of activity.
Permanent cosmetic application is the
process of implanting color into the dermal layer of
the skin with the use of a specially designed and approved
instrument. The process of placing pigment under the
skin varies accordingly depending on what area is being
covered. In order to get the ideal color you will need
a follow-up appointment within 4-6 weeks.
This procedure is permanent, although
some clients can experience some fading due to sun exposure.
This typically is done after 2 to 5 years. Every person
is different. Some hold color for many years and others
will need to return more often for a touch-up. The time
you save not putting on make-up is well worth it.

Procedure
Day for Permanent Cosmetics
Permanent Cosmetics
is the best thing you can do for yourself to make you
look and feel your best at all times. I recommend that
we do a consultation a week before you decide to do
the procedure.
During your
FREE 30 minute consultation with me we will decide together
on the style and color that suits your face and skin
most perfectly. You will come in with your make-up on
your face in the exact manner that you wish it to appear
permanently. This will include color, shape, size, and
style. Please bring eyebrow, eyeliner, or lipstick color
with you as well. Once that is finalized, we can set
your next appointment for procedure day.
When you arrive
on your treatment day, you will fill out your paper
work and I will take your 'before' picture to be included
in your file. We will then discuss the shape and color.
A soft complimentary color will be chosen at this time.
The pigment is then placed into the dermal layer of
your skin. This color will appear darker than the desired
color due to the wet appearance just for the first few
days.
We will need 2 hours for your appointment.
Upon completion
of your procedure, cool water will be applied for a
few minutes, and 'after' photo will be taken and a healing
ointment will be applied. Your follow-up appointment
will also be made for approximately 4-6 weeks later.
It is important that the procedure be completely healed
before your next appointment. You will go home with
your after-care instructions. You must follow these
instructions to achieve a long-lasting result.
Although the
procedure will appear to be healed within a week, to
insure color retention and avoid unnecessary pain, it
is important not to re-injure the skin until it has
completely healed. Minimum time for complete healing
of procedures is 4-6 weeks.
All clients
need to be good health condition before applying permanent
cosmetics. If you have any health concerns please consult
with your doctor before proceeding.
It is not a
good idea to have permanent cosmetics before a special
occasion, if you are pregnant, or if you are going on
vacation.
After-Care Instructions
I will send
After-Care Instructions home with you to follow step-by-step.
